
McKiernan Reassigned to Rancho Cucamonga

SALT LAKE CITY (September 7, 2009) - The Salt Lake Bees announced today that the club has reassigned right-handed pitcher Eddie McKiernan to Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.
McKiernan, 20, has appeared in five games for the Bees in 2009, owning a 0-1 record with a 7.45 ERA. In 44 games for Rancho Cucamonga in 2009, he owns a 5-4 record with a 3.88 ERA and 52 strikeouts. The Monrovia, Calif. native was originally selected by the Angels in the 17th round of the 2007 draft.
The Salt Lake Bees conclude the 2009 season at home today against the Sacramento River Cats at 2:05 p.m. at Spring Mobile Ballpark.
