RENO, Nev.- Ed Rogers and Konrad Schmidt led the Aces' 17-hit attack, as Reno ended its season by on a seven-game winning streak, culminating in Monday afternoon's 11-4 win over Fresno at Aces Ballpark.

The Aces took a 5-0 lead after one inning and led 8-0 after three, then cruised to the victory on the final day of the PCL season. Rogers and Chris Roberson both had two-run doubles in the first, and Schmidt added to the lead with a two-run single in the third. The Aces tacked on insurance runs in the fourth, sixth and seventh innings to cap-off their season-high seven-game winning streak.

Reno used five different pitchers in the game, holding the Grizzlies to four runs and ten hits. Travis Blackley (4-7) earned the victory, tossing three scoreless innings and striking out three.

Steve Hammond (11-12) took the loss for Fresno, allowing nine runs-all earned-in five innings of work.

Five different Aces had multi-hit games in Monday's contest, led by Schmidt (3-for-5, 3 RBI) and Rogers (3-for-5, 2 RBI). Roberson (2-for-5, 2 RBI) had two of Reno's five doubles on the afternoon.

Monday's win caps off a season that saw Reno finish with the third-best record in the league at 79-64 and a second-place finish in the Pacific Southern Division. Only Sacramento and Albuquerque finished with better records than Reno.
