
McIlvane Gets Call

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington rookie center Matt McIlvane became the fourth PrairieThunder player Thursday to be elevated to an AHL team this season. McIlvane will be in uniform tonight for the Peoria Rivermen against Grand Rapids at 7 o'clock.
McIlvane leads PrairieThunder rookies with 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points in 54 games. He is among five Bloomington players who haven't missed a game this season. The others are Craig Macdonald, Justin Sawyer, Zac Pearson and Jason Lepine.
Other PrairieThunder players, who have been called up to AHL teams this year, include goaltenders Andrew Martin and Kevin Armstrong, along with defenseman Jason Lepine. Armstrong spent two games with the Chicago Wolves, while Lepine has been called to Peoria three times and Martin once. Lepine is the only player to see game action.
