Danville Dashers News Release

Danville, IL - Dalton McGrath led the Dashers to a 3-1 victory Friday night at the David S. Palmer Arena. McGrath stopped all but one of the shots he saw, and the one goal he did give up came on a redirect that he couldn't do much about.

Ryan Stouffer had the game winning goal for the Dashers, just 15 minutes in the game. Justin Levac had the first Dashers goal two minutes into the contest. Levac also came through big on defense for Danville, by blocking a shot that was all but bound for the back of the net. The puck took a funny hop in front of the net, after Dalton McGrath had already left his crease to play it on the other side. Levac hopped in front of the would be goal and preserved the Dashers lead at two.

Justin Levac, Ryan Stouffer, and Justin Brausen (empty net) did the scoring for Danville. Pavel Kubena had the lone River Drivers goal.

Danville will be at home for two straight against Dayton tomorrow and Sunday. Tomorrow night's game is cancer awareness night and will feature specialty jerseys and an auction after the game.
