McFadgon Waived; Williams Added

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Quirk Chevrolet, today announced that Scooter McFadgon has been waived by the team and that Michael Williams has been activated. The announcement was made by Red Claws President and General Manager Jon Jennings.
McFadgon, a 6-5, 210 lb. shooting guard out of Tennessee was the Red Claws 5th round selection in the 2009 NBA D-League draft.
Williams, a 6-11, 245 lb. forward out of Bryant College, will join the Red Claws when they play their lone preseason game tonight against the Springfield Armor at the Augusta Civic Center. Tickets are available at the Augusta Civic Center Box Office, online at ticketmaster.com or by calling (207) 626-2400. The game will start at 7:00 PM, and before the game, the Red Claws will host a special lecture style basketball clinic from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM to be followed by a player autograph session from 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM. Both events are open to all fans with a ticket to the game.
