
McCowan Named MVP of the Week in Turkish KBSL

Teaira McCowan has been a double-double machine in Turkey with her team Ormanspor and after a dominant week, she has received the MVP of the Week award for her play in the Turkish KBSL for round 4.
Scoring at least 20 points in each of her last three games, McCowan pulled down 19 rebounds and scored 26 points on Saturday in a win against Elazig.
In addition, with a current of average of 23.0 points (4th best) and 12.5 rebounds per game, she is among the league's top in points.
According to EuroBasket, Ormanspor currently sits in fifth place in the Turkish KBSL standings and will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record.
