
Mayor Langford Proclaims May 31 Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies Day

Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - Tomorrow the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies, the 2003 ECHL Kelly Cup Champions, will be honored by Lorenzo Langford, Mayor of Altantic City, as he will officially proclaim Saturday, May 31, as "Kelly Cup Champion Boardwalk Bullies Day" in Atlantic City.
General Manager Matthew Loughran and Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Michael Haviland, as well as goaltender Matt Yeats, will be in attendance at City Hall at 11 a.m. to accept this honor.
The Bullies will participate in the Lighthouse Festival Parade on May 31, and the Kelly Cup will be on display in the parade route beginning at Garden Pier on the boardwalk at 11 a.m. The Lighthouse Festival is a fundraiser sponsored by the Atlantic Cape Community College Advancement Office. Funds raised will benefit ACCC and arts and education organizations in Atlantic and Cape May Counties.
