FLORENCE, SC – The Florence Pee Dee Pride today announced that the team will play two pre-season contests in preparation for the 2003-2004 season.

Florence will travel down I-20 on Friday, October 10 for a match-up against the defending Southern Conference champions, the Columbia Inferno. The Inferno eliminated the Pride three games to none in the 2003 Southeast Division Finals. Face off at the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The next night, Saturday, October 11, the Pride will return the favor, and host the Inferno at the Florence Civic Center. Game time is also at 7:30. Pride season-ticket holders will receive a free ticket to this game as part of their season-ticket package.

The Pride and Inferno should become quite familiar with one another early in the season. In addition to the two pre-season contests, the two squads will also face off in the first two games of the regular season. Florence travels to Columbia for the season opener on Friday, October 17, and then hosts the Inferno in the home opener on Saturday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m.

Full-season tickets, mini-plans and flex-plan vouchers for the 2003-2004 season are now available. For more information, or to place your order, visit the Pride offices, located at the Florence Civic Center, or call (843) 669-7825.
