DEATH STAR, Space. - In the not so distant future (March 17), in an arena (the Cow Palace) not so far away...
STAR WARS DAY
Be prepared to be transported to a galaxy far, far away, but travel only as far as the southeast corner of San Francisco to the Cow Palace, when the Bulls host the Utah Grizzlies at 2:15 pm. Dress in your best Stars Wars costume and be prepared for a hockey experience unlike any other.
Warm up your vocal cords and participate in a Wookie Sound-Alike Contest to win a Star Wars prize pack. Throughout the game, catch Star Wars trivia and movie clips up on the Colosseo Cube video board. Be sure to bring your light sabre because you never know if it will come in handy.
Joining the battle will be US Olympians Kristi Yamaguchi and Bret Hedican, representing the Always Dream Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from the evening's events, including 'Chuck a Puck', the 'Jersey Off the Back' Raffle, merchandise purchases will go towards the Always Dream Foundation. Each Star Wars costume worn to the game will also raise $5 for the Foundation. Come see Bret and Kristi drop the ceremonial first puck.
