EVANSVILLE, IN.--- The Evansville IceMen proud ECHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets and St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League and the Springfield Falcons and Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League are subscribing to the age-old adage of "saving the best for last!" It's THE ICEMEN FINAL FOUR!!!
With four more home games remaining on their 2012-13 regular season schedule at the Ford Center, the IceMen are presenting to Evansville and the Tri-State region some of their best-ever promotional nights in the history of the organization. These promotion nights are certain to capture the imagination and fascination of the entire IceMen nation.
Beginning this weekend at the Ford Center, Friday night, March 15th when the IceMen play host to the Greenville Road Warriors, it will be another great "IceMen Youth Jersey Night," presented by Old National Bank. The first 1,000 youngsters will receive a sharp IceMen jersey on this special night. But, that's not all. Friday night has been designated "Disney Night" as the first 100-youngsters dressed as their favorite Disney character will receive a free voucher to one of the entertaining "Disney On Ice" shows coming to the Ford Center from March 27-31.
This Saturday night, March 16th when the IceMen guest the Kalamazoo Wings, the IceMen and their fond following of faithful fans will celebrate the Coors Light St. Patrick's holiday game with the game being played on Green Ice! There's more, as it virtually will be a St. Patrick's carnival-like atmosphere with Bagpipers, Irish Dancers, Green IceMen Irish Mugs given away, compliments of Ri Ra Irish Pub, with the IceMen sporting specially-designed St. Patrick's jerseys which will be auctioned after the game.
The IceMen aren't done yet! On Friday night, March 22nd when the IceMen collide with the Reading Royals, "America's Sweethearts," the world-famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will be in Evansville at the Ford Center to perform and entertain the IceMen legion of fans on a most special evening in the Tri-State.
On the following evening, it will be the IceMen home finale for 2012-13. Saturday night, March 23rd, the IceMen will salute the season when they clash, again, with the Kalamazoo Wings. It will be the "IceMen Annual Awards Night" with our special guests being the incomparable "ZOO-perstars!!" An immensely popular entertaining act, the "ZOO-perstars" will be with us throughout the night to truly spice-up and light-up the final home night of the regular season for the IceMen.
