Mavericks to Host Seat Selection Event this Weekend

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks will host the team's seat selection event for season ticket holders this Saturday and Sunday, August 29 and 30 at the Sheraton Kansas City Sports Complex.

Every season ticket holder will have the opportunity to pick their own seats on a manifest of the Independence Events Center. Starting Saturday morning at 8 a.m., the first season ticket holder will pick, and over the weekend every season ticket holder will have the opportunity to select their seats for the team's inaugural season. The order is based on the priority number of the season ticket holder.

The event will last from 8 a.m. to almost 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

"This is a very exciting process for our fans to have the ability to pick their exact seat location," said President and General Manager Brent Thiessen.

Premium season ticket holders will select their seats at a later date through the Independence Events Center.

The Independence Events Center is currently under construction and will be ready for the Mavericks home opening weekend on November 13-14. Season tickets will continue to be on sale, and group tickets start as low as $10 per person. The Mavericks 32-game home schedule has been released and can be found at www.MissouriMavericks.com.
