Mavericks Offer Military Discount for Exhibition Games

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - Missouri Mavericks' President and General Manager Brent Thiessen announced Tuesday the Central Hockey League (CHL) club will sell tickets to both exhibition games for $10 to any price level for all military members. Active or non-active military members must present ID at the Independence Events Center Box Office to receive the discount.

The Mavericks will take on the Evansville IceMen for two exhibition games on Friday, October 8 and Saturday, October 9 at Independence Events Center. Both games will begin at 7:05 p.m. Ticket prices for the game are $15 and $18 depending on seat location, but military members can purchase their tickets in any price level for just $10.

The Missouri Mavericks will begin their second season in the Central Hockey League on October 15, 2010 against the Odessa Jackalopes at 7:05 p.m. The Mavericks play their home games at the state-of-the-art Independence Events Center where parking is always free. Tickets for all 33 regular season home games are on sale now starting at just $14 per game.
