LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Tuesday that they have signed rookie forwards Misha Fisenko and Jared Jagow for the 2010-11 season. Fisenko was a member of the Calgary Hitmen's 2010 WHL Championship squad, while Jagow is a former AJHL and SVHL All-Star.

RUSSIAN NATIVE FISENKO INKS WITH BUCKS

The 20-year-old Fisenko (pronounced fih-SEN-ko) spent the last two seasons in the WHL spending time with the Calgary Hitmen and Vancouver Giants. In 115 career WHL games Fisenko tallied a total of 72 points (24-4872) and 79 PIM's.

Last season Fisenko, a native of Magnitogorsk, Russia, helped lead the Hitmen to the 2010 WHL Championship scoring 19 points (8-1119) in 23 playoff games. In the regular season Fisenko put up 44 points (12-3244) in 55 games with the Hitmen.

"Misha is a very skilled hockey player who has the ability to score for us this season," said Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski. "He's very quick and skates well with the puck."

In 2008-09 Fisenko scored 28 points (12-1628) and had 50 PIM's in 60 games for the WHL's Vancouver Giants. In the 2009 playoffs Fisenko picked up four points (1-34) ion 15 games.

The 6'1'', 200 pound Fisenko was a member of the Russian U-18 team that captured the Silver Medal at the 2008 World Junior Championships.

From 2006-2008 Fisenko played in his native Russia as he suited up for Dynamo Moskva in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 campaigns.

TWO-TIME ALL-STAR JAGOW JOINS BUCKS

The 21-year-old Jagow (pronounced JAY-go) was a two-time all star during his junior career. In 2009-10 he was named a SVHL second-team all star while in 2008-09 he was tabbed as an AJHL North all star. In 188 career junior games Jagow put up 144 total points (82-62144) while spending time in the WHL, SJHL, AJHL and SVHL.

Last season the Rosetown, Saskatchewan native spent time at three levels of hockey, playing for the Elrose Aces (SVHL), University of Regina (CIS) and Corpus Christi Ice Rays (CHL). Jagow began last season with the Aces scoring 41 points (28-1341) and earning a SVHL all star nod before playing two games with the Rays (0-00) while finishing the season playing four games for the University of Regina (3-14).

"Jared is a solid hockey player who can put up some points," Ruskowski said. "He's had success at every level he's played at and we want to see that success continue here in Laredo."

In 2008-09 Jagow, 5'11'', 190 pounds, set career highs in goals (30), assists (32) and points (62) while playing in a total of 50 games for the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL) and Lloydminster Bobcats (AJHL). Jagow played in six games for the Thunderbirds (0-00) before appearing in 44 for the Bobcats (30-3262).

During the 2007-08 season Jagow split time in the WHL with the Regina Pats and Prince Albert Raiders scoring a total of 26 points (14-1226) in 64 games.

In 2006-07 Jagow put up 15 points (10-515) in 60 games for Regina (WHL). Jagow began his junior career in 2005-06 by playing in two games for the Estevan Bruins (SJHL).
