INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (November 15, 2016) - The Missouri Mavericks make history this morning by hosting the Allen Americans for their first-ever Education Day Game. Thousands of school children will be in attendance to cheer the Mavericks on as they wrap up their four-game home stand.

WHO: Missouri Mavericks (3-7-1) vs. Allen Americans (6-7-0)

WHAT: Season Game #12, Home Game #5

WHEN: Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:35 a.m.

CHECKING THE RIVALRY

The Mavericks are facing the Americans today for the third of 13 meetings this season and the first of six to be played at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. Missouri has a 7-13-2 all-time ECHL record against Allen, including a 3-5-1 home mark (3-2-0 during 15-16 season). Allen claimed the first two meetings of the season in Allen back on Oct. 15-16, but has gone 4-7-0 since then while the Mavericks have gone 3-5-1. The Americans are 3-4-0 away from home on the season but have won their last two, while the Mavericks are 2-2-0 at home with back-to-back losses. Following today's game the Mavericks take to the road for five straight and return home against Allen on Nov. 30.
