PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced Tuesday that Indy Fuel goaltender Jake Hildebrand has been named the CCM/ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Nov. 7-13. It is the second time Hildebrand has earned the weekly honor this season; the rookie netminder also received the award for Oct. 14-16.

The 23-year-old appeared in two of Indy's three games last week in Anchorage against the Alaska Aces, turning in a 2-0-0-0 record, a 0.96 goals against average, a .970 save percentage with one shutout. Hildebrand stopped 27 of 29 Alaska shots through regulation and overtime, and added one more save in the shootout to help the Fuel snap a seven-game winless streak with a 3-2 win on Friday. The native of Butler, Penn. then made 37 saves Saturday to post his first professional shutout in a 2-0 Indy victory.

Assigned to the Fuel from the club's American Hockey League affiliate Rockford IceHogs, Hildebrand shows a 4-2-1 record, a 2.82 goals against average and a .912 save percentage in seven appearances this season. The former standout at Michigan State University made his professional debut last spring with the Allen Americans, compiling a 5-1-0-0 record along with 2.31 goals against average and a .925 save percentage in six appearances. Hildebrand saw action in eight playoff games in 2016, posting a 3-2 record en route to the Americans' second straight Kelly Cup championship.

With the Spartans, Hildebrand became the first to be named Team MVP in each of his four years at school, in addition to earning NCAA First Team All American, Big Ten Player and Goaltender of the Year honors in 2014-15.
