INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks announced Tuesday the Central Hockey League (CHL) franchise has signed amateur defenseman Kevin Noble to their postseason roster. Noble fills one of two allowable amateur spots on the Mavericks' playoff roster.

Noble, 24 (7/11/87), played collegiately at Mercyhurst College and scored eight goals and 43 assists in 139 games over the course of his four-year career. A 6-foot, 185-pound native of Sparwood, British Columbia, Noble recently finished his collegiate career and had his best season in 2011-12. He accounted for 20 points on five goals and 15 assists in 40 games played. Noble will wear #15 for the Mavericks.

"Kevin is a very solid puck moving defenseman and will help us continue to add depth to our d-core for the playoffs," said Mavericks' Head Coach Scott Hillman.

The Mavericks open up postseason play Wednesday night, March 28 at Independence Events Center in Game One of the 2012 CHL Ray Miron Presidents' Cup Playoffs against the Evansville IceMen.
