
Killer Bees Add Carlson, Finalize Playoff Roster

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, proud affiliates of the Florida Panthers and San Antonio Rampage, finalized their 19-man roster for the 2012 CHL Playoffs the team announced on Tuesday. In addition to the 19 players under CHL contract the Bees have inked amateur Cody Carlson from the Western Hockey League to an Amateur Try-Out.
The CHL mandates a 19-man roster with no injured reserve.

Cody Carlson joins the Bees from the Prince George Cougars of the WHL. Carlson played in 72 games in nine goals and 30 assists. In total Carlson played 305 WHL games with 25 goals and 110 assists split over three different squads.
The Bees open the playoffs this Friday night at the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas facing the top-seed Wichita Thunder. Game two follows Sunday night before the venue changes to the Valley for games three and four at the State Farm Arena.
