The Alpine Cowboys walked it off on the Tucson Saguaros in 10 innings to advance to the Pecos League Mountain Divison Championship. Tucson had a 4-3 lead with 2 outs in the 9th when Taylor Darden hit a single to drive in Drake Angeron. Josh Rego turned two inside out double plays from first base to get the Cowboys out of jams. Dallan Curthoys took the loss for the Saguaros.
The Cowboys will host the Garden City Wind on Monday for Game 1 of the Pecos League Mountain Divison Championship Series.
Alec Cruz was the winning pitcher throwing 2 innings with 1 strikeouts while allowing 1 hits.
On the mound for the Tucson Saguaros it was Dallan Curthoys who picked up the loss throwing 0 innings.
For the Alpine Cowboys, Josh Rego lead the way at the plate going 1-5.
Dieterich Guertzgen also helped the ballclub at the plate going 0-0.
