
Matt Anthony Named Pro Hockey News Goaltender of the Month

Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League announced today that Matt Anthony of the Danville Dashers has been selected as the Pro Hockey News Goaltender of the Month for November.
Anthony posted a record of 6-2-0-0 in eight FHL appearances on the month, allowing twenty goals on 316 shots while registering a 2.49 goals-against average and a .937 save percentage with one shutout
Anthony began the month with a 39-save 4-2 win vs. Berlin on Nov. 6. He made 50 stops as the Dashers earned a 6-2 win at Brewster on Nov. 13, and turned aside 43 of 44 shots in a 4-1 victory over Brewster on Nov. 20.
Anthony is ranked second in the FHL with a 2.49 goals-against average and first with a .937 save percentage. Anthony, 31, is in his 10th professional season after leading the Danville Dashers to the 2015 Commissioner's finals and earned himself a 2015 FHL Second Team All-Star nod.
In recognition of his achievement, Anthony will be presented with a gift from Pro Hockey News.
