JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced several transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's series finale with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Bragan Field in Jacksonville.

Catcher Jeff Mathis' Major League Rehab Assignment has been transferred from Jacksonville to Triple-A New Orleans. Mathis, who suffered a broken right collarbone during Spring Training, accumulated a .273 average in three contests for Jacksonville, along with a home run and six RBI.

In addition, the Marlins announced outfielder Daniel Pertusati has been transferred to Jacksonville from High-A Jupiter. Pertusati began the year with the Suns, compiling a .238 average with an RBI in ten contests before being transferred to Jupiter on April 21. In 15 contests with the Hammerheads, the 23-year-old recorded a .132 clip, adding a home run and five RBI.

The Suns roster stands at 25.

Jacksonville and Pensacola are slated to meet later tonight at Bragan Field in the series finale, with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.
