Tacoma Defiance on Sunday continues its 2021 USL Championship campaign with its second road match of the season, facing off with Austin Bold FC (6:00 p.m. PT / ESPN+). This marks the lone meeting of the season between Tacoma and Austin.

Tacoma Defiance earned a pair of home wins two weeks ago at Cheney Stadium, capping a three-match unbeaten run to start the season. On May 13, Defiance emerged victorious in a 3-1 result over San Diego Loyal SC in the home opener, thanks to goals from Carlos Anguiano, Alec Díaz and Danny Robles. The club recorded its first shutout of the season on May 16, defeating Orange County SC 1-0 on a goal from Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez.

Defiance opened the season on May 9 with a 1-1 road draw against LA Galaxy II. Defender Abdoulaye Cissoko converted a penalty kick at the death to even the score right before the final whistle.

Defiance continues its campaign next Saturday, June 5 on the road against Las Vegas Lights FC, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. PT at Cashman Field (ESPN+).
