
Match Preview: Second-Placed Carolina RailHawks Host Minnesota United FC

CARY, NC (June 4, 2015) - The Carolina RailHawks (3W-4D-2L, 13pts.) will take on Minnesota United FC (3W-4D-1L, 13 pts.) at WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, June 6th at 7:30 pm ET.
"It's an important game for both teams," said RailHawks Head Coach Colin Clarke. "Good results and clean sheets help with confidence and the boys are buzzing right now. We want to continue our good run and finish the spring season off in a positive way in front of our home crowd."
The RailHawks are looking to finish strong in the NASL standings as the spring season comes to a close. The RailHawks currently sit in second place in the standings with 13 points. Minnesota is in third place with 13 points as well (goal difference is less than the RailHawks).
The RailHawks are coming off a four goal shutout win against Jacksonville Armada FC at Community First Park in Jacksonville last Saturday. The RailHawks held a 4-0 halftime lead after goals by Connor Tobin, Neil Hlavaty, Leo Osaki, and Mark Anderson and cruised in the second half to an impressive road win.
Minnesota is coming off a 1-1 draw against league leaders New York Cosmos. A late goal came from Cosmos forward Raúl in the 90th minute of play, evening the scores of the two teams.
The RailHawks will return to WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, July 4th, at 5:00PM, when they host Minnesota United FC in the opening game of the NASL Fall Season.

Who to Watch
Connor Tobin played a large role in the RailHawks 4-0 win against Jacksonville Armanda FC. He buried the first goal of the game and made a handful of great defensive plays featuring several well-executed slide tackles. Tobin has now played in all nine games for the RailHawks, including eight starts and is one of the most trusted defenders in the league.
