Strikers Game Saturday Features Military Appreciation Night

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Thursday, June 4, 2015) - The Fort Lauderdale Strikers will conclude the home portion of their North American Soccer League Spring Season with a 7:30 p.m. tilt versus Indy Eleven. The match is presented by GT Exotics and features a variety of promotions and activities for fans, including:
+ Military Appreciation Night: All active duty and retired military with a military identification receive complimentary tickets to Saturday's game. Tickets can be secured only in advance via the following link: http://www.strikers.com/military-appreciation-night.
Pre-game activities will include a moment of silence recognizing the 71st anniversary of the D-Day Invasion of World War II, which occurred on June 6, 1944. The National Anthem will be presented by South Florida recording artist Kahra Keyes.
+ Azul Airlines Tickets: All fans in attendance Saturday will have the opportunity to win two roundtrip tickets to Brazil on Azul Airlines. Signups will be in the Strikers Fan Zone and the winner will be announced at halftime.
+ "Inside Out" Movie: There will be a special area with interactive activities for children featuring the Disney Pixar movie, which opens in theatres this weekend. Kids will have the opportunity to win several giveaway items including merchandise, movie passes, and four VIP tickets to a special screening of "Inside Out" at Miami's Sunset Place.
+ Bubble Soccer: There will be a bubble soccer match at halftime, presented by South Florida Adult Sports. Bubble soccer includes six players on each side with each competitor wearing an inflated plastic device from the waist up that allows him or her to crash into other players safely on the pitch.
+ GT Exotics Luxury Cars: The game's presenting sponsor will have high-end automobiles on display for fans to check out. The cars on display will include include Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Bentleys.
+ The Belmont Stakes: The Strikers will show the telecast of the 147th running of thoroughbred racing's Belmont Stakes on Lockhart's Stadium's giant video L.E.D. video board. The race will see American Pharoah attempting to become the first triple-crown winner since 1978.
Other highlights include local band School of Rock playing in the Fan Zone pregame.
Fans attending the game will receive a voucher for discount tickets to the Strikers international match against the renowned Argentine side Boca Juniors on July 1.
