Sacramento Republic FC News Release
Behind Tucker Bone's first brace of the season, Republic FC secured three points for the first time since May 12 in a 2-1 victory over Las Vegas on July 14.
After 10 days of much needed rest, the Boys in Old Glory Red return to the pitch this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. when they take on Orange County SC in a tough road matchup. Mark Briggs' men will look to keep up their winning ways in the final meeting of the season with the Southern California club and make up some ground in what has become a competitive Pacific Division.

The Latest on the Team
Republic FC (3-6-3, 12 points) grabbed three points in their July 14 matchup in Las Vegas, marking the first victory for the club since May 12.
Sacramento's attacking unit kept Las Vegas defenders busy all night, tallying 12 shots including four each from Cameron Iwasa and Tucker Bone, whose two scores increased his season total to five. Bone's performance landed him a selection on this week's USL Championship Team of the Week alongside teammate Luis Felipe.
Republic FC will take the field on Saturday with a new face on the roster in forward Jerome Kiesewetter, who joined the club on loan from FC Tulsa on July 13. The German-American has appeared in 11 matches for FC Tulsa this season, and has featured briefly in MLS and Bundesliga play as well as for the United States Men's National Team.
Opponent Outlook
Orange County SC (6-4-3, 21 points) comes into Saturday's contest winless since their 2-0 win over Republic FC on July 10.
Tied for second place in the Pacific Division standings, the Southern California club enters the match having dropped two in a row after falling to San Diego Loyal SC on July 14 and Rio Grande Valley on July 17.
Despite being one of the league's best on defense this season, Orange County has struggled with their defensive discipline in their last two matches, surrendering 26 shots while being outscored 4-1. Two of their four goals surrendered have come off of set pieces, and a third came from a RGV penalty.
Head to Head
Saturday's match will be the 11th all-time meeting between the two clubs and the fourth and final time they meet this season. The Indomitable Club and Orange County have played each other tough historically, with Republic FC just one behind in the win column since their first meeting in 2017.
Orange County and Sacramento last faced off two weeks ago on July 10. The warm evening did not go Sacramento's way, as they fell 0-2.
