CARY, NC (August 11, 2015) - The Carolina RailHawks (2W-2D-2L, 8pts.) will travel to Florida to take on the Jacksonville Armada FC (1W-1D-4L, 4 pts.) at Community First Park on Wednesday, August 12th at 7:30 pm ET and will stay on the road to face off FC Edmonton on Sunday, August 16th at 4:00 pm ET. Both matches will be broadcast live in North Carolina on WRAL2 and on the radio at 99.9HD-3 The Ticket. Wednesday's match will also be broadcast nationwide on One World Sports as the NASL Match of the Week.

The RailHawks are looking to increase their momentum into Wednesday's match. The two teams met last in May, in which the RailHawks shut out the Armada on the road 4-0. The RailHawks currently sit only one point off of a post-season berth.

The RailHawks are coming off of a well fought match after drawing the Tampa Bay Rowdies 1-1 at home on August 1st. After the Rowdies scored first, the RailHawks quickly responded with a goal from Mark Anderson. Neither team scored again for the remainder of the match. Mark Anderson's performance earned him honors in the NASL Team of the Week.

The Armada is coming off a 3-2 loss on the road against the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Armada's Alhassane Keita scored the team's two goals.

The RailHawks will stay on the road to face off against FC Edmonton on Sunday, August 16th before they return to WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, August 22nd at 7:30 pm to host Raúl and the New York Cosmos.

RailHawks Notes:

Who to Watch

Mark Anderson had a masterful performance against the Tampa Bay Rowdies, scoring the equalizer in the first half. The England native was forced to retrieve the ball with his back to the goal and turned around and rip the shot all in one motion. Anderson's beautiful goal was his second of the season and earned him a spot on the Week 5 NASL team of the week.

Coach's Quote

"We will have an extended road trip this week, starting with Jacksonville, and hope to pick up points," said RailHawks Head Coach Colin Clarke. "Although we played against the Armada at the beginning of the season and were successful, they are a difficult team to play against because they are aggressive offensively, which will require us to be strong and organized defensively."
