Players to Watch

North Carolina FC - #19 Jay Tee Kamara

A force in all of North Carolina FC's matches thus far and adding an assist in last Saturday's game, Jay Tee Kamara will look to score his first goal of the season in Saturday's match against Fort Lauderdale CF. Head coach John Bradford calls Kamara "extremely dangerous off the dribble," complimenting his ability to "see the game well," skills that the 18-year-old will look to utilize in this weekend's contest.

Fort Lauderdale CF - #30 George Acosta

In eight appearances with Fort Lauderdale CF, Acosta has scored a goal and tallied four assists, making the midfielder the league's leader in assists, a statistic that Acosta boasts at only 21 years old. In mid-May, Acosta was named Player of the Week for scoring a goal and adding two assists in a singular game against FC Tucson, and will look to continue his dominance on offense in Saturday's match against NCFC.

Last Time Out

North Carolina FC's last performance saw a hard-fought, physical battle that entailed a weather delay and multiple cards administered between the two teams as NCFC fell to FC Tucson 2-1. Selmir Miščić recorded the goal for the home team in the early minutes of the match, his second of the season, and Jay Tee Kamara notched the assist.

Up Next: North Carolina FC will travel to take on Greenville Triumph SC on Wednesday, June 16 at 7 p.m. ET at Legacy Early College in Greenville, South Carolina.
