NJ/NY Gotham FC News Release
Harrison, NJ - NJ/NY Gotham FC travels to face the Houston Dash on Sunday, June 11 at Shell Energy Stadium (7 p.m. ET, Paramount+), as the club looks to secure some valuable momentum in its first match of a two-game road swing.
The club has seen success on the road this season, earning 13 total points and four wins in away matches in 2023. Gotham FC remains only one road victory away from tying its club record for most away wins in a single season (5).
Sunday's match will be a homecoming of sorts for Gotham FC Head Coach Juan Carlos Amorós, who served as Houston Dash interim head coach last season. During that time, Amorós led the Dash to a fourth-place finish and the team's first-ever NWSL playoff appearance.
After a postponed midweek UKG NWSL Challenge Cup game, Gotham FC remains among the top-four ranked teams in the regular season, and the club has an opportunity to move back up the standings once again.
