CARY, NC - The Carolina RailHawks are tied at the top of the NASL standings and look to secure first place Saturday at WakeMed Soccer Park when they take on NASL expansion team Miami FC at 7:30PM.

"This is yet another big game for us," said RailHawks Head Coach Colin Clarke. "Miami is a new franchise and had a tough start. They have good players and we need to be at our best to secure the win. After last week's disappointing result, it's a must win for us to keep our goals alive and win the NASL Spring Championship."

The RailHawks are looking to rebound from last Saturday's 3-1 home loss to the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.

Despite dominating possession, the RailHawks faced a 3-0 deficit at halftime. They tried to make a comeback as forward Brian Shriver scored his second goal of the season in the 67th minute. Carolina had several other chances late in the game, but it was not enough to defeat the Strikers.

Miami FC is also hungry for success after a loss to the New York Cosmos last weekend at Ocean Bank Field in Miami. The team, coached by former AC Milan legend Alessandro Nesta, created plenty of chances to find the back of the net, but several blocked shots resulted in a 3-0 loss.

Next weekend, the RailHawks will travel to Canada to take on FC Edmonton on Sunday, May 22 at 4:00pm ET. You can watch the game live on WRAL2 or Time Warner Cable Sports Channel.
