
Armada FC Sends Richie Ryan to Miami FC

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Armada FC announced on Friday it has traded midfielder Richie Ryan to North American Soccer League club Miami FC for cash considerations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed per club policy.
Originally from Tipperary, Ireland, Ryan joined the Armada FC in December from NASL side Ottawa Fury FC. Ryan started in all five NASL Spring Season matches for the Armada, recording an assist and two shots in 450 minutes of action.
"I want to thank Richie Ryan for his contributions to the Armada FC," said Tony Meola, Armada FC head coach and technical director. "He is a consummate professional, and I wish him the best in Miami. We continue to shape our roster to win in the near and long term. This move creates opportunities for us to improve certain elements of our game."
The Armada will take on Minnesota United FC at 8 p.m. ET this Saturday at National Sports Center Stadium in Blaine, Minn. The match will be aired live locally on CW17 (pre-match coverage begins at 7:30 p.m.) and beIN Sports nationally. Fans can also listen on Project 106.9-FM in Jacksonville or on project1069.iheart.com, with pre-match coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m.).
