ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 2 when the team returns home to host FC Cincinnati 2 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. The match is scheduled to kick off at 5:00 p.m. EDT and will be streamed live on Apple TV - MLS Season Pass, while fans can also tune into the Soccer Down Here audio stream.

In ATL UTD 2's last match on Monday, Aug. 21, the team fell to New York Red Bulls II 4-2 at MSU Soccer Park. Nick Firmino netted his 14th goal of the season, moving him two behind the golden boot race in MLS Next Pro. Alan Carleton earned his first professional assist on a cross sent to Luke Brennan for his fourth goal of the season.

PREVIOUS MEETING

Atlanta United 2 secured a point at FC Cincinnati 2 following a 1-1 draw during their first meeting at NKU Soccer Stadium. Cincinnati earned the extra point after winning in penalty shootout 3-2. Karim Tmimi scored his fourth goal of the season in the second minute of the match but it was Benjamin Stitz in the 73rd who found the equalizer for Cincinnati, while 16-year-old Academy player Matthew Dejianne made his professional debut.

The team is currently tied in 10th place in the Eastern Conference tied with Cincinnati at 27 points each.
