Arizona United SC enters the match against the Austin Aztex looking for their first home win on the season. Arizona United SC is coming off of a 1-1 draw against the Tulsa Roughnecks on May 9. Jonathan Top's goal in the draw helped snap a three-match losing streak, which saw Arizona United SC fall from second in the USL Western Conference to fifth with 10 points through seven matches.

Saturday's match marks the second of four total meetings between Arizona United SC and the Austin Aztex this season. In the first meeting between the two clubs on April 11 in Texas, Long Tan's goal and Carl Woszczynski's stellar play helped Arizona United SC claim its first shutout on the season in a 1-0 win.

"We'll obviously learn from playing them last time, and from that experience.," said Arizona United SC head coach Michael Dellorusso. "We will also check out their recent games and prepare ourselves like anybody else, but we know what worked and what didn't against them. Yet, they also know what didn't work for them. It's always nice to play a team a second time because you know their personnel, but it is always a challenge."

Forwards Jonathan Top, Dennis Chin (2012 USL leading goal scorer) and Long Tan (franchise leader with seven goals) all lead Arizona United SC with two goals. Robbie Derschang and Jose "Chiva" Cuevas are tied for second with one goal each.

The Austin Aztex visit Arizona on a impressive three-match unbeaten streak, which includes wins over the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and Real Monarchs SLC and a draw against the OKC Energy FC. Led by forwards Kris Tyrpak (four goals, one assist) and Sainey Touray (two goals, one assist), the Austin Aztex will look to extend their current streak at Scottsdale Stadium on Saturday night.
