SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Friday, September 25, 2015) - The Scorpions kick off the home stretch of the 2015 season with back-to-back home games. First up tomorrow night is the Atlanta Silverbacks and then the following week the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers will make their final appearance of the year at Toyota Field.

Scorpions defender Stephen DeRoux comes into this week's matchup tied with former Scorpion Greg Janicki for all-time appearances in the regular season and playoffs combined. They both sit at 68, but with an appearance in Saturday's game against Atlanta, DeRoux will move to 69 and hold sole possession of the Scorpions record. He currently leads the franchise in all-time appearances in the regular season (66) and all-time minutes played in the regular season (5,583). DeRoux should surpass Janicki in total minutes played (regular season and playoffs) on Oct. 3 in the match against Ft. Lauderdale.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night and the game will be streamed online via on ESPN3.

The San Antonio Scorpions are 7-3-3 all-time against the Atlanta Silverbacks. They have never lost to Atlanta when playing in San Antonio, sporting a 4-1-0 home record in the series. The Scorpions have also not lost to the Silverbacks since the 2013 NASL Fall Season

The Scorpions have earned 24 points against Atlanta in the series, second most versus NASL opponents to the 25 taken in matches with the Carolina RailHawks

San Antonio is plus eight in the goal differential when playing Atlanta in the Alamo City. They have scored 11 goals against the Silverbacks while only conceding three
