CHARLOTTE, N.C. - For the second time in the 2023 USL League One regular season, South Georgia Tormenta FC will face off against the Charlotte Independence, and Tormenta FC will be looking for revenge after falling 1-3 in the first meeting between the two sides on March 25, 2023. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina (ESPN+).

TFC enters the important mid-table clash on the heels of a 2-1 victory at home against Central Valley Fuego FC. Following Saturday's fixture against the Independence, Tormenta FC shifts its attention to a home matchup against Forward Madison on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 7:30 p.m. ET from Optim Sports Medicine Field at Tormenta Stadium (ESPN+).
