MESQUITE, Texas - The Texas Outlaws announce the return of veteran defender Mike Jones to their roster for the upcoming 2023-2024 Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) season.

The signing marks a homecoming for Jones, who previously played for the team Outlaws during their inaugural season in 2019 when they were first introduced to the MASL and known as the Mesquite Outlaws.

Texas Outlaws Head Coach. Tatu stated, "We're thrilled to have Mike Jones back at the Outlaws. Mike is a veteran in the league, a solid defender, and a great leader on the field."

Jones' journey through the world of indoor soccer has been nothing short of impressive. Jones will be coming in with a decade of experience, as this will be his 10th season in the MASL, and the Outlaws are hoping this experience will prove valuable this season. In Jones' 10 years in the league, he has a total of 121 blocked opponent shots, 16 goals, and 20 assists in regular season games.

General Manager and Sporting Director of the Texas Outlaws, Brad Namdar, stated, "The club is happy to have Mike Jones back on our squad, and we look forward to watching his experience, leadership, and presence contribute to the team, both on and off the field."

Jones, who is considered by many a fan favorite in the league is equally thrilled about returning to the Outlaws. "This club and I have history, and I plan to add to the history and legacy that this organization has continued. I'm very fortunate to be in the presence of such a legendary coaching staff and a front office that I am very appreciative of."
