Mascot Night Comes To Dunedin

DUNEDIN, FL - The Dunedin Blue Jays are happy to again host Mascot Night on D-Jay's birthday at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium on Saturday, June 27th. The Jays will welcome in the Fort Myers Miracle to Dunedin that evening to begin a four-game series, first pitch is scheduled for 6:30PM.

D-Jay will have plenty of help celebrating his special day as mascots from all over the area will be on hand to wish him a happy birthday and spend quality time with fans. Mascots will be doing what they do best at the ballpark that night, signing autographs and taking pictures.

Additionally, Saturday is a T.D. Bank Reading Night and Pinellas County school children who were involved in this year's 'Bookin' it the Ballpark' program will be on hand celebrating their accomplishments. Children 12-years-old or younger will receive a D-Jay bobblehead while supplies last and the evening's sponsor, Jets Pizza, will have a giveaway.

On top of all of that, the Dunedin Historical Museum will be in attendance with an exhibition of old-time baseball and uniforms in right field after gates open at 5:30PM. The Historical Museum will raffle of one of its vintage uniforms that will be signed by a Dunedin Blue Jays player as a fundraiser.

Finally, D-Jay loves going to the movies and his birthday of course falls on a 'Jays Win, You Win' Saturday. If Dunedin defeats Fort Myers, all ticket stubs are good for a free movie at Cobb Theatres. Every Saturday throughout the 2015 season is a 'Jays Win, You Win.'
