Martin Returned from Wolves

KALAMAZOO- After dressing for two games for the Chicago Wolves, goaltender Joel Martin has been returned to the Kalamazoo Wings.

Martin, who didn't see action in either games for the Wolves, has earned a record of 12-8-1-1 with two shutouts, a goals-against average of 2.69 and a save percentage of 0.909 in 24 appearances this season for the K-Wings.

In a separate transaction, the K-Wings have claimed forward Michael Neal. A six-year pro, Neal, who is the younger brother of Nashville Predators forward James Neal, posted 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists) in 21 games this season for the Cincinnati Cyclones.

The K-Wings will return home on Sunday, January 25th for a 3 p.m. face-off versus the Allen Americans on Family Hockey Day in the 'ZOO, presented by Consumers Credit Union and United Healthcare, where the first 500 kids receive a Checkered Flag and a FREE kids meal.

This Sunday will also be Kids on the Go and Kalamazoo 500 Day. Following the game, the K-Wings will host a post-game skate with the players courtesy of United Healthcare.

Kalamazoo will also debut this season's Slappy jersey's that will be worn during all home Sunday games.
