LANCASTER, Calif. - Jason Martin hit a pair of home runs for the JetHawks, but Dawel Lugo hit for the cycle to lift the Visalia Rawhide to a 10-6 victory on Tuesday night at The Hangar.
Visalia pounded out 18 hits and scored in six of the nine times they came to the plate. Lugo hit for the cycle in reverse order, beginning with a home run to lead off the second inning to make it 2-0. He followed with an RBI triple in the fourth and a two-run double in the fifth. After a ground out in the seventh, Lugo led off the ninth inning with a single up the middle to complete the cycle.
The Rawhide scored four runs in the top of the fifth to surge ahead 8-1, but the JetHawks responded with four in the bottom of the frame to get right back in the game. Martin hit his first of two solo home runs to lead off the inning. Brooks Marlow delivered a two-run double and Aaron Mizell came through with an RBI single.
Each team added a run in the seventh. Lancaster's came on Martin's second home run of the night.
