
Marshals ride into new season

Central Texas Marshals News Release
The Central Texas Marshals are pleased to announce their 2004-05 NAHL schedule.
The Marshals begin their campaign on the road in Lone Star on Sunday, September 26. Their home opener is Friday, October 8.
Upcoming Promotions will be announced in the near future.
Season Tickets for 2004-05 are currently on sale. Please go to the season ticket page of the Marshals' official Website and fill in the form, or call (254) 760-0254.
The Marshals recently signed a number of new players for the 2004-05 campaign.
Ryan Hernandez was acquired by the Marshals in a trade with the Springfield Jr. Blues for Luke Buetow.
The Marshals acquired forward Nick Larson in a trade with the Toledo IceDiggers for a Second Round draft pick.
Defenseman Eric Hansen was acquired by the Marshals in a trade with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs for tendered player Chris Mittlestat.
Matt Piegza, a forward last year with the Youngstown Phantoms, was acquired in a trade for future considerations.
J.C. Valasquez joins Piegza on the Marshals after a trade with the Youngstown Phantoms for future considerations.
The Marshals also acquired defenseman Kyle Richardson and forward Brandon Horning from the Youngstown Phantoms for 20 year old defenseman Jim Brennan.
They traded the playing rights of 20 year old Derek Hansberry to the Wichita Falls Wildcats in exchange for 18 year old David Martinson, a forward who played for St. Louis Park High School in Minnesota last year.
And they acquired to the rights to goaltender Keith Longo, born in 1985.
