
Indians celebrate 10th Anniversary Alumni Game

Over 20 former Indians hockey players made their trek back to their old stomping grounds of Sault Ste. Marie for the Indians 10th Anniversary Alumni Weekend.
After a day's worth of golf on Friday, the Indians entertained local fans on Saturday with an offensive display of hockey led by former Indians star Chris Gobert, who scored six goals for his team.
Also making the score sheet was Adam Nightingale (three goals), Justin Gutwald (three goals), Don Gagnon, Jimmy Jorgensen, Jamie King, and Alex Sawruk.
After skating to an 8-8 tie, the game was eventually decided by a shootout goal by Justin Gutwald, marking his fourth of the game.
Chris Gobert was named the game's First Star, Don Gagnon was named the game's Second Star, and Adam Dekker, who faced 68 shots and took the win in goal, was named the game's Third Star. Derek MacIntyre took the loss in goal.
Other notable alumni playing in the game included Chuck Fabry, Jason Nygard, Mike Ginop, Jason Blain, Stavros Paskaris, Shane Dagenais, Josh Meyers, Marty Gurnoe, Nick Glander, Jared Nightingale, Scott Donaghe, BJ Bouschor, Ray Kaunisto, Josh Lyerly, Larry Amick, and Brian Cooper.
