
Marlin Nabs Weekly Player Honor

TUPELO, MS--The Tupelo FireAnts (2-8) are pleased to announce that kicker John Michael Marlin has been named United Indoor Football's Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts against the Fort Wayne Freedom (9-0) this past Saturday.
Marlin connected on two field goals from 51 and 22 yards in the 45-20 loss against Fort Wayne.
A graduate of Mississippi State University, Marlin is currently in his second season with the FireAnts.
The FireAnts return to home action next week as they host the visiting Black Hills Red Dogs (1-9) on Friday, June 10th at the BancorpSouth Center in Tupelo, MS starting at 7:30pm.
