
Mark Redman to Start Season Opener

WICHITA, Kan. ¾ Mark Redman will be starting for the Wichita Wranglers in their season opener versus the Tulsa Drillers on a Major League Rehab Assignment from the Kansas City Royals.
Last season, Redman pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates where he compiled a 5-15 record and a 4.90 ERA. He struck out 101 batters in 178.1 innings pitched. Redman started all 30 games he appeared in.
Redman resides in Tulsa, Okla. and attended the University of Oklahoma. He was a 1st Team All-American in both of his seasons at Oklahoma. Mark Redman has faced every Major League club in his 7-year career.
The season gets underway tonight at 7:05 at Drillers Stadium.
