Mariners host Charleston Battery for fan appreciation night
September 2, 2005 - USL First Division (USL-1) - Virginia Beach Mariners News Release
The Virginia Beach Mariners will host the Charleston Battery at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex on Sunday September 4 at 7:30 p.m. This will be the last home game for the Virginia Beach Mariners 2005 Season.
The Virginia Beach Mariners salute teachers and school staff members with a "Back to School Special" featuring free admission with school ID. There will also be plenty of prize give-aways and entertainment.
A pre-game appreciation party is planned for all 2005 Season Ticket Holders as acknowledgment of their continued support throughout the season. The party is sponsored by Shorebreak Pizza, Sports, Billiards and will commence at 5:30 p.m. under the party tent.
-FREE Mariners magnet from Soccer plus to the first 2,500 fans through the gate after 6 p.m.
-FREE admission to all kids wearing local club jerseys (18 and under)
-Free admissions to kids 10 and under
-11 years and older $5.00
