Harrison returns to Real Salt Lake

Virginia Beach, VA- The Virginia Beach Mariners goalkeeper, Chase Harrison was called up to Real Salt Lake last week. Harrison signed with Real in the third round of the 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft and was on loan to the Virginia Beach Mariners since the beginning of the '06 season. Real felt moving Harrison, a 6'2 West Virginia native, to Virginia Beach would allow him more playing time on the field.
Harrison has been an integral part of the Tech program and holds the majority of school goalkeeping records including career minutes played (7,181), career goals against average (1.12), shutouts (24), season minutes played (2062), season goals against average (0.94), and season shutouts (8), the last of which he earned twice.
