
Marcelo Saragosa Undergoes Knee Surgery

FRISCO, Texas (Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008) - FC Dallas midfielder Marcelo Saragosa today underwent surgery to repair the torn medial meniscus in his right knee. He is expected to be out of action for 3-4 months.
Saragosa started 23 of the 25 games in which he appeared in this season, which were the most for the Brazilian since he started 24 of 26 games as a member of the LA Galaxy in 2004. He also scored one goal and added two assists this year. Saragosa had surgery on the lateral meniscus in the same knee in September of 2007.
