New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, today announced a Ticket Fundraiser to benefit the Manchester South Little League, which had two dugouts at Precourt Park destroyed by vandals on Tuesday afternoon. Manchester South Little League Night has been scheduled for Monday, May 3, when the Fisher Cats take on the New Britain Rock Cats at Merchantsauto.com Stadium. All the players in the league have been invited to take part in a special pre-game parade, and they will each be given a complimentary ticket to the 6:35pm game. Fans wishing to help the league raise money to recover from the vandalism can purchase tickets through the special promo code 'HELPSOUTH' on www.nhfishercats.com. For every premium box seat ($12), field box seat ($10) and box seat ($8) ticket purchased through that 'HELPSOUTH' promo code, $4 will go directly to the South Little League.
For the South Little League teams who have games scheduled on May 3, the Fisher Cats have made complimentary tickets available for those players on Tuesday, May 4, for the 6:35pm game vs the Rock Cats. The promo code 'HELPSOUTH' will also be active for any fans wishing to donate $4 of their premium, field and box seats purchased through www.nhfishercats.com for the Tuesday, May 4, game.
"It is a shame that such a thoughtless act has done such instant damage to innocent kids in our community," said Fisher Cats President/General Manager Rick Brenner. "We want to give the South Little Leaguers a special night and memorable experience on May 3, and we ask our fans to help support these kids by using the promo code 'HELPSOUTH' on our website for Manchester South Little League Night."
