
Manatees Sign Forward Greg LeColst

Miami â Miami Manatees head coach Zac Boyer today announced the signing of forward Greg LeColst.
LeColst, 20, comes to the Manatees after starting the season with the Jacksonville Barracudas. In seven games this season, LeColst scored one goal and one assist, while acquiring 16 penalty minutes. LeColst made his professional debut last season with the Barracudas, playing in six games and scoring two points.
"LeColst has really good speed and he will be able to help our team out in several areas. I am very happy to have him play down here for the Manatees." Zac Boyer said.
In 2000-20001, LeColst attended Division III Salem State College where he scored 27 points and had 22 PIM in 24 games.
Boyer also announced that Mike Murray has been waived, and Eric Perricone, Dan Davies, and Ron Baker have been suspended from the team.
The Miami Manatees face off against the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, and Orlando Seals in the WHA2's inaugural season. All games are broadcast on www.irn.fm.
