VIERA - With the Brevard County Manatees into the second month of the season, the team has experienced significant increases in attendance in 2016. In comparing this season thus far to the same point in the 2015 season, the team has had an increase of 41 percent in total attendance.

Manatees begin six-game home stand on Tuesday

Brevard County will play two of the top teams in the Florida State League this week at Space Coast Stadium.

The Clearwater Threshers (PHI) come to town on Tuesday, the last game of the series being the first game of Outdoors Weekend. The Manatees will wear specialty hunter's camouflage jerseys throughout the weekend.

The Tampa Yankees (NYY) will finish the home stand Friday through Sunday.

Brewers reliever, Smith set to join Manatees Tuesday

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Will Smith will be assigned to the Brevard County Manatees as a part of a rehab assignment. Smith will be on the active roster for the Manatees beginning on Tuesday, as Brevard County plays the first of a six-game home stand against the Clearwater Threshers.
