TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Yankees welcome all fans to help raise awareness and funds for cancer research during their game at Steinbrenner Field on Saturday, June 4th at 6pm against the Charlotte Stone Crabs for Strikeout Cancer Night presented by US Foods. The gates will promptly open at 4:30pm.
When the Tampa Yankees players take the field they won't be the only one stepping between the lines, joining the players at their position for the National Anthem will be heroic cancer survivors.
During the game, Tampa Yankees players and coaches will be wearing special themed jerseys. The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game with proceeds benefiting Baycare to provide cancer awareness and support research.
