Mammtoh Retiring Lacrosse Legend John Grant, Jr.'s No. 24 on March 24

The Mammoth will retire John Grant Jr.'s No. 24 jersey in a pre-game ceremony, raising his No. 24 to the rafters of Pepsi Center.

Grant retired in 2017 as one of the best lacrosse players in history, leaving an indelible legacy on the Colorado Mammoth, on the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and on the sport of lacrosse.

In just over six seasons with the Mammoth, Grant rewrote the record books and, stepping away as the team's all-time leader in goals (235).

Grant also retired as second in NLL history in goals (668) and points (1,446).

Along with becoming one of the best lacrosse players in Colorado, Grant has become one of the most beloved lacrosse players in Colorado. He is beloved by fans not only for playing on both the Colorado Mammoth and Denver Outlaws teams, but also for coaching the next generation of Colorado lacrosse players. Currently, Grant is Head Coach of the Valor Christian Boys Lacrosse Team.
