Mammoth to Open at Home in 2011 Campaign

DENVER - The National Lacrosse League and the Colorado Mammoth today released the 2011 season schedule. Entering its ninth NLL campaign, the Mammoth will open its quest for a championship with a strong test against the defending NLL Champion Washington Stealth on January 8 at Pepsi Center.

"We are very excited about our schedule this season," proclaimed Mammoth President and General Manager Steve Govett. "Our fans will be able to witness not only the best lacrosse players in the world right here at Pepsi Center, but a rejuvenated, dedicated and gritty Mammoth squad they'll be proud of. We can't wait until January 8!"

The 16-game schedule features two home games every month from January through April. All home games will be played on Friday or Saturday night at 7pm except for a lone Sunday evening game during President's Day weekend on February 20. That start time will be 6pm. A complete schedule is below with the home games in bold.
